Our Story

A local staple since day one

Porter's Family Restaurant has been a quiet anchor on ME-159 for years — the kind of place where regulars know your name and your usual order. We serve honest, home-style food made from scratch, paired with a carefully curated drink list that doesn't take itself too seriously.

Whether you're pulling in after a long drive through Aroostook County or just looking for a solid meal in a room that feels like yours, we've got a seat waiting.

The interior is easy — warm wood, soft light, and enough room to spread out without feeling like you're in the way. The bar is a favorite spot for an after-work drink, and the windows look out onto the same stretch of road that brings most of our guests through town.

We keep the volume low and the coffee fresh. Come as you are.
